Working with terabyte-scale 3D microscopy datasets shouldn't mean re-finding the same view twice, losing track of which figure came from which dataset, or emailing long links to keep a collaborator in the loop.
NeuroGlass is a cloud platform that makes volumetric imaging work reproducible and shared by default. Join the MetaCell team for a 30-minute live walkthrough on Friday, May 8.
NeuroGlass extends Neuroglancer with structured Studies and Data Collections that link imaging data, metadata, figures, and findings in one place. Teams at the Allen Institute, Johns Hopkins, and Calico Labs use it daily to move through complex datasets faster and keep analysis reproducible across projects.
It supports a wide range of imaging modalities – connectomics, cryo-EM/ET, expansion microscopy, high-resolution cellular imaging, spatial transcriptomics, and electron and fluorescence microscopy.
Whether you're new to NeuroGlass or already using it and want to go deeper, this session gives you a practical look at how it fits into real research workflows.
Friday, May 8
12pm – 12:30pm ET
Researchers, imaging core staff, software engineers, and data scientists working with large 3D microscopy datasets. If you're already using Neuroglancer or evaluating other tools, you'll see how NeuroGlass supports both individual researchers and institution-wide teams that need more organized, reproducible, and shared microscopy workflows.
Attendees get the first public preview of the upcoming collaborative Comments feature, which brings threaded discussion directly to exact dataset views.
Seats are limited, so please register early. Feel free to share the invitation with colleagues who may be interested in the session.
NeuroGlass is developed by MetaCell, a life science technology partner that helps pharmaceutical, medtech, and advanced R&D teams turn complex scientific workflows into secure, usable, production-ready software. For more than 15 years, our scientists and software engineers have worked across imaging, omics, analytics, and cloud-based collaboration, building custom tools and platforms for organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, the Allen Institute, Yale, Stanford, and CZI’s Biohub.
